In the city of Samara, in the Dnipropetrovsk region, on June 28 and 29, the authorities decided to declare days of mourning in connection with the tragic consequences of the recent missile strike by the Russian occupiers. This decision was officially announced by the city’s mayor, Serhiy Reznik, through his post on the Telegram channel, where he reported on the tragedy and the measures taken to honor the victims. On the morning of June 28, the city woke up to the sounds of explosions: Russian troops again struck the territory of Samara. According to the mayor, it was a targeted act of terror against the civilian population. He emphasized that the attack was not accidental, but deliberately planned: “Russia deliberately targeted civilians. This is not an accident. They are purposefully trying to intimidate and destroy peaceful residents.” As a result of the shelling, according to the authorities, a rescue operation began in the city - rescuers worked to dismantle the rubble, and doctors fought for the lives of the injured. All services are working in coordination to minimize the consequences of the attack and provide assistance to the victims. The mayor of the city signed a corresponding order declaring two days of mourning - June 28 and 29. During the mourning period, all entertainment events in the city will be suspended, and state flags will be lowered to mark the grief. This decision is a gesture of support for the families of the deceased and an expression of solidarity with the population at this difficult time. In general, on the eve of this incident, on June 27, Russian troops launched a missile strike on the Dnipropetrovsk region - in particular, on the city of Samar. The attack killed five people and injured 23 more. This is yet another proof of the targeted aggression by the occupiers aimed at destroying communities and intimidating the civilian population in Donbas. The situation in the region remains tense, and the consequences of the missile strikes are causing outrage not only among local residents, but also among all those who follow the situation in eastern Ukraine. Ukrainian services are working non-stop, fighting for the safety and lives of citizens in this bloody war that has been going on for over a year.
