Donetsk region defense: false reports of “Vugledar” create a distorted picture of the situation on the front
Analysts from the DeepState project report on the massive use of false reports by the tactical group "Vugledar", which leads to an illusion about the state of defense in the region. According to them, this attempt at manipulation creates a distorted picture that does not correspond to reality and can mislead both Ukrainian military commanders and the public. The source of the information is DeepState, which emphasizes that the situation in the field operations is significantly deteriorating, despite the attempts of local units to submit optimistic reports. More about the situation: according to analysts, the defensive line around the former tactical group "Vugledar" is already undergoing rapid destruction, and the enemy in this sector is demonstrating significant success in advancing. Of particular concern is the fact that units that are part of the aforementioned group systematically report finding controlled settlements or even individual positions, claiming to be holding the defense. However, these reports are far from reality and do not change the negative trend. Updating military maps in the near future may indicate disappointing changes on the front. Regarding the operational situation, DeepState analysts report that Russian occupation forces are moving forward in the area of the settlements of Shevchenko, Burlatske and Vilne Pole in the Novopavlivske direction, which is in the Donetsk region. According to their data, the enemy is conducting active assault battles with the aim of breaking through the defense and capturing new positions, using a large number of infantry to advance. In addition, the Russians are pressing from the side of Zaporizhia in the direction of Zyrka, intensifying their offensive actions along this front line. Another aggressive tactic used by the occupiers is sending large infantry forces to the village of Komar, attempting to completely capture and control it. Constant assaults continue in the Shevchenko - Vilne Pole - Novoselka areas, where the occupiers are trying to break through the defenses of the Ukrainian troops and gain a foothold at strategic points.
