In the video released by the press service of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the "West" Air Command, it is seen how a pilot with the call sign Denfix on a MiG-29 fighter jet of the Sevastopol Tactical Aviation Brigade captured a target at night - a guided kamikaze drone "Shahed". This is demonstrated in footage of his combat work, where he uses an "air-to-air" missile to destroy the enemy aircraft. The military emphasizes that modern aviation, if necessary, is involved in repelling missile and air strikes of the Russian enemy, while demonstrating high efficiency in the fight against cruise missiles and drones. It is noted that since the beginning of hostilities, this pilot has destroyed more than twenty cruise missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles, which confirms the high level of training and accuracy of Ukrainian aviators in forming the country's defense line.
