Short-term rains and thunderstorms expected in Ukraine on June 27 and 28: forecasters predict temporary weather changes and temperature fluctuations
On Friday, June 27, according to meteorologists, Ukraine will experience short-term rains and thunderstorms, mainly in the western, northern, Vinnytsia and Odessa regions. In other regions, mostly dry weather is expected. According to the Ukrhydrometeorological Center, published by the Interfax-Ukraine agency, the weather changes are caused by a variable wind direction, which will change from north-west to south-west at a speed of 5-10 meters per second. In the eastern regions, wind gusts of up to 15-20 m/s are possible at night, which will add tension to the weather conditions. As for temperature indicators, at night it will fluctuate from 11 to 16 degrees Celsius, and warm weather is expected during the day - 21-26 degrees. It will be especially warm in the south of the country and in Transcarpathia, where the night temperature will reach 15-20 degrees, and the daytime temperature will be 25-30 degrees. In the capital, Kyiv, on June 27, there will be no precipitation at night, and in the afternoon there is a possibility of short-term rains with a north-westerly breeze, which will change to a south-westerly breeze at a speed of 5-10 m/s. The temperature in the city at night will be 13-15 degrees, in the afternoon - 24-26. For Saturday, June 28, weather forecasters predict short-term rains and thunderstorms in most regions. This is especially true for the southeastern regions, where moderate and even significant rains are possible during the day. Rains will persist in the eastern regions at night, and dry weather is expected in the western regions. The wind will remain north-westerly, at a speed of 7-12 m/s, and in the western regions during the day gusts will reach 15-20 m/s in places, which may affect the state of transport and energy infrastructure. As for temperature indicators, 13-18 degrees Celsius is expected on Saturday night, 19-24 during the day, and up to 28 degrees in the south and east of Ukraine. In Kyiv, on June 28, short-term rains are possible, mainly at night. In the city, thermometers will show 16-18 degrees at night and 21-23 during the day, which will create comfortable conditions for residents and guests of the capital. In general, the mid-week and weekend period in Ukraine will be characterized by changeable weather with short-term rains and thunderstorms, but also periods of dry and warm weather. Meteorologists recommend that citizens follow forecast updates and plan trips and activities taking into account possible surprises in the weather situation.
