Russian troops attacked Kharkiv region: several cows killed and people injured
On June 26, explosions were heard again in Kharkiv region, which were the result of another military shelling by the Russian occupation forces. This time, the regional center of events was the village of Pidlyman in Izyum district, where Russian troops targeted an air strike on a local agricultural enterprise. According to official sources, this attack led to a fire on the territory of the farm and also caused a serious injury to one of the local residents. According to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office and the State Emergency Service, at approximately 16:00 local time, the Russian military used aircraft to target an object in the village of Pidlyman. As a result, a large-scale fire broke out, which destroyed a significant part of the feed and equipment used for agricultural work. At the same time, a 40-year-old man was injured in the explosion, he received injuries caused by shrapnel or fragments of explosive devices, and was urgently hospitalized. Unfortunately, his life could not be saved - he died in the hospital. According to the investigation, this attack was another manifestation of the Russian military's disregard for the civilian population and local infrastructure. Several adult cows belonging to local farmers died during the shelling, their death was another devastating blow to the agricultural sector of the region, which is already suffering significant losses due to the war. In addition, in the evening hours of June 25, the Russian occupiers carried out another provocation. They dropped ammunition using an FPV drone on the territory of a private household in the village of Vovchanski Khutory. As a result of this incident, a 70-year-old man was injured, he was taken to a medical facility for necessary assistance. As a result of this attack, residential buildings were also damaged, and local residents were again under threat. These strikes once again demonstrate the intensity and purposefulness of Russian military actions in the Kharkiv region, where civilians and local businesses have long been victims of aggression. Local authorities and law enforcement agencies continue to record the consequences of the shelling and call on residents to observe safety measures, as the danger remains high. Ukrainian defenders on the front lines are making every effort to protect the region and stop such destructive actions by the occupiers, but the situation remains tense.
