Russian artillery shelling of Kostyantynivka injures two civilians

Last night, Russian troops launched another attack on civilians in Kostyantynivka, Donetsk region, this time using artillery. As a result of this attack, two local residents were injured and urgently hospitalized. The incident occurred in the city center, where a pharmacy is located, which later suffered significant damage. According to the head of the Kostyantynivka city military administration, Sergey Gorbunov, who reported on the situation on Facebook, at about 12:00 a.m., a targeted fire attack by Russian artillery occurred. "This was a barbaric act of aggression that caused damage to the facade of the pharmacy and created a danger to the lives of residents. As a result of the shelling, two victims were taken to the city hospital and provided with the necessary medical care," Gorbunov noted. He also urged residents to follow evacuation rules and, if possible, leave the combat zone in a timely manner in search of a safer place. It should be noted that as of this time, the damaged pharmacy has become one of a number of life-support facilities that have suffered from massive attacks by Russian troops. We will remind that the day before, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Vadym Filashkin warned of a critical situation in the city due to active shelling: in Kostyantynivka, energy and transport infrastructure has been partially destroyed, there have been problems with water supply, and the humanitarian situation has worsened to a level that could cause a humanitarian catastrophe. The city is on the verge of a crisis, with all the consequences for the civilian population, which is trying to survive under continuous enemy strikes. This incident emphasizes the urgent need to strengthen security measures and respond quickly to the difficult humanitarian situation that has developed in the region.
