Horrific losses in Kherson region: occupiers take the lives of three civilians

Russian troops have once again caused massive pain and destruction in Kherson region, taking the lives of three civilians and injuring another person. According to official information received from the head of the Kherson military administration, Alexander Prokudin, on Telegram, the situation remains tense and is becoming more tragic for the local population every day. As Prokudin reported in his commentary, as of June 25, the occupiers have again used an aggressive scenario and carried out massive strikes on the region. In particular, on that day, two residents of the region lost their lives as a result of Russian shelling. Another person received serious injuries incompatible with life during an attack in the village of Chervonyi Mayak. There, the occupiers used an FPV drone to attack a 55-year-old man, which ended tragically. In addition, in Sofiivka, a village located nearby, the Russians opened fire on an agricultural enterprise. As a result, a 38-year-old farm worker who was working in the field during the shelling was mortally wounded. This is another confirmation that the occupation forces continue to purposefully destroy the infrastructure and lives of civilians in the region. The night of June 25-26 was no less tragic. In the Tavriysky district of the Belozersk district, Russian air bombs covered the target, killing another man born in 1987. This indicates the ruthless use of aviation by the Russian troops and new civilian casualties. In the morning of June 26, the Russian occupiers again struck the Korabelny district of Kherson. A 71-year-old woman was seriously injured as a result of the artillery attack. She suffered a concussion, as well as explosive and closed head injuries. Doctors are fighting for her life, but the injuries were so serious that medical personnel do not hide the difficulty in saving her life. Residents of the region have been living under constant threat for years, but such armed attacks and losses undermine the foundations of peaceful life, cause a persistent sense of fear and hopelessness. Local authorities and the military administration emphasize the need to strengthen the protection of the population and call on the international community to pay attention to the continued aggression by Russia, which does not spare either the residents or the infrastructure of the region. This tragic series of events once again confirms that the Ukrainian lands in the south of the country remain an arena of fierce fighting and ruthless aggression. In recent days, new facts of destruction and human losses have appeared in the region, which once again emphasizes the need for joint efforts to end the war and return peace to this part of Ukraine.
