A terrorist act attempt occurred in Kyiv: a criminal recruited by Russian special services tried to take the life of a Ukrainian defender by planting an explosive device in a scooter in the Dnipro district of the capital. Information about this special operation was published by the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, the Security Service of Ukraine and law enforcement agencies. According to their information, the suspect, a resident of the Kyiv region, who was recruited by foreign special services and acted within the Russian agent network, arrived in Kyiv with a clear task - to prepare to commit a terrorist act, in order to destabilize the situation and destroy the Ukrainian military. According to the investigation, the suspect rented an apartment in the capital, where he made an explosive device according to the instructions of the curator - agents of the Russian special services. In order to implement the plan, the leader of the criminal group purchased a scooter through an online ad, in which an explosive device was to be planted. The criminal was to leave the vehicle in the Dnipro district, but his intention was thwarted. Sources in law enforcement agencies reported that, according to the enemy's plan, the explosive device in the scooter was to be activated remotely, which endangered the life of a Ukrainian serviceman from the Azov brigade. The operatives, having prevented the terror attempt, prevented its implementation with quick and measured work. The video released by the prosecutor's office shows that the serviceman, having stopped a few steps from the vehicle, remained unharmed, since the explosion did not go off properly. At the time of the explosion, the soldier managed to avoid serious injuries. According to the investigation, the criminal was promised a reward of 400 thousand hryvnias - he was detained and is currently in custody. The young man has already been suspected of a terrorist act by law enforcement officers from the Kyiv prosecutor's office. Let us remind you that this is not the first attempt by Russian special services to carry out a terrorist act in our country. Recently, a 19-year-old woman was detained in Kharkiv, who is accused of participating in a terrorist act that was also carried out on behalf of Moscow. According to the information received, the girl handed over a scooter stuffed with explosives to the Ukrainian military, passing it off as "volunteer assistance." As a result of the explosion, one soldier died and another was injured. These cases emphasize the growing and purposeful activities of Russian special services aimed at destabilizing the situation in Ukraine and destroying key defense soldiers. Thus, Ukrainian law enforcement officers and special services are making maximum efforts to detect and eliminate any attempts at terrorist acts in order to prevent tragedies and maintain the safety of citizens.
