A large-scale wave of shelling by Russian troops has brought tragedy to the residents of Donetsk region. Over the past 24 hours, the Russian occupiers have carried out another attack, as a result of which three civilians have been killed, eleven more have been injured. Destruction and ruins have become a sign of night battles, which have led to significant human losses and destruction of private and residential property in several cities of the region. On the afternoon of June 24, the situation remained tense: in Zolote Prudy, one citizen was killed, two were injured, dozens of residential buildings were damaged. There, Russian troops launched a series of strikes with bombs and shells, destroying infrastructure, the consequences of which are still being felt by residents. There were also reports of destruction in Pokrovsk, where a tragedy occurred - one person was killed, two more were injured. In Novoyavlenka, one resident was killed and one was injured during the shelling, and no details about property damage were reported. The most destruction was recorded in Kostyantynivka, where three civilians were injured as a result of the shelling. In addition, more than thirty-two residential buildings and several cars were damaged. Rescuers worked to eliminate the consequences of the damage and evacuated the injured. The situation became more complicated in other areas: Raiske, Lyman, Novy Donbas, and Rodynske came under fire. All these settlements were attacked by Russian troops, and the losses and destruction here were also significant. It should be especially noted that in Kramatorsk, the enemy used unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), attacking the territory of the city. As a result, a fire was recorded on the territory of a non-working enterprise, which was quickly extinguished by rescuers. As a result of the strike in the city, buildings and transport were damaged, and the situation is keeping the locals in tension. In general, according to the head of the Donetsk OVA, Vadym Filashkin, these data do not take into account the large-scale destruction in Mariupol and Volnovakha, which are also suffering from Russian attacks. The total human and material damage in the region only confirms the severity of the situation and the importance of further support and defense of Ukrainian communities. This morning in the region begins with another conversation about security and the need to strengthen the defense forces, because every day for the residents of the Donetsk region is a struggle for life and the future.
