Russian troops attacked the Kupyansky district of the Kharkiv region, there are victims and destruction
On the morning of June 25, during another aggressive operation, the Russian army carried out a missile attack on the Kupyansky district of the Kharkiv region, which led to tragic consequences for the local population. According to official data from the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, the situation remained tense from the early hours of the day, when the first reports of the shelling and its destructive force began to spread on social networks and news resources. According to law enforcement officials, at approximately 2:30 p.m. in the village of Petro-Ivanivka, which belongs to the Kupyansky district, Russian soldiers opened fire from heavy weapons. As a result of this attack, a 60-year-old man died, his death was an irreparable blow to the local community. According to preliminary data, as a result of the shelling, some residential buildings suffered significant damage, and residents were forced to flee the scene, shocked by the scale of the destruction and the loss of loved ones. The morning was particularly dramatic when, according to the investigative authorities, at around 10:00 am on the same day, Russian troops launched an air strike on the village of Grigorivka, scattering four high-explosive FAB-250 bombs with UMPK (five-explosive cumulative mortar fragments) over the territory of the settlement. As a result, at least ten residential buildings were damaged, internal furnishings were destroyed, and dozens of families were left homeless. This once again confirms that the Russian army continues to use heavy weapons, directed not only against military facilities, but also against peaceful communities, destroying infrastructure and destroying the lives of ordinary people. Local authorities and law enforcement officers are working in an intensified mode. They are recording the scale of the destruction, establishing the names and number of victims and injured, and are also conducting the necessary investigative actions to establish all the circumstances of the criminal actions of the occupation forces. In addition to the physical destruction, these shellings have affected the psychological state of the residents, who are now forced to live in a state of constant tension and anxiety. This attack has become another reminder of the price of war and the tragedy of civilians during Russia’s aggression in Ukraine. Local communities continue to suffer destruction and losses, but remain steadfast in their fight for independence and a peaceful future. The Ukrainian authorities call on the international community to strengthen support in the defense of Ukrainian communities and to take effective measures against the aggressor.
