Russian shelling harms Zaporizhzhia civilian life
Five citizens were injured as a result of powerful rocket and artillery attacks by Russian troops in the Zaporizhzhia region. In particular, in the city of Zaporizhzhia and several districts - Vasylivs'kyi and Polohivs'kyi - the occupiers again used heavy weapons, causing significant damage to infrastructure and housing. According to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, since Tuesday evening the occupiers have intensified shelling, resulting in damage to at least five private houses in Zaporizhzhia. Local services confirmed the information, reporting that rescuers and emergency services are already working on the ground to eliminate the consequences of the enemy attack. “At least five private houses were damaged, they were hit by rockets. Our specialists and volunteers are actively helping the victims, providing them with the necessary support and restoration work. All services are working in an intensified mode to quickly cope with the consequences of enemy strikes,” Fedorov said in Telegram. Additionally, he noted that municipal services have already closed the damaged windows in six houses with the help of modern OSB sheets, and restoration work is ongoing. The photos confirmed that the situation remains tense: the shelling does not stop even during the day. In total, over the past day, the occupiers have launched 469 strikes on 13 settlements — with various weapons and means of destruction. Enemy attacks were recorded in several cities: Stepnohirsk, Kamyanske, Hulyaypol, Novodanylivka, Novohrygorivka, Novopavlivka and Solodkoye. Drones were particularly active — a total of over 300 drones were used in various directions. Most of them attacked Kamianske, Prymorske, Hulyaipole, Preobrazhenka, Shcherbaki, Novodanylivka, Malaya Tokmachka and Charivne. At the same time, the Russians used multiple launch rocket systems, in particular, shelling Prymorske, Hulyaipole, Malta Tokmachka and Novodanylivka. According to the regional military administration, artillery strikes were carried out on several key points — Kamianske, Hulyaipole, Shcherbaki, Novodanylivka, Malaya Tokmachka and Charivne, which led to significant destruction of private houses, cars and damage to infrastructure. The result of these attacks was the destruction and damage to residential buildings, harm to local infrastructure and created additional tension in the daily lives of residents of the region. Normal life in the frontline areas is complicated, as people are forced to endure new enemy shelling every day. Background: We would like to remind you that in late June, after one in the morning, powerful explosions were heard in Zaporizhia, caused by shelling by Russian troops. As a result, damage was recorded to residential and infrastructure facilities, and two local residents were injured. This is yet another confirmation that the situation in the region remains tense and requires constant attention and active action by the Ukrainian authorities and law enforcement agencies.
