Russian occupiers launch missile strike on Kupyansk, casualties reported
On the night of June 25, the city of Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region was subjected to a new attack by Russian troops. According to official information, five civilians were injured as a result of the missile attack, and a nine-story residential building was significantly damaged. According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, the night attack was carried out with an assault cruise missile (CRAB). According to him, the enemy purposefully struck the city, the target was a residential complex located in the central districts of Kupyansk. As a result of the missile warhead hitting the ground, significant destruction occurred in the city, in particular, a multi-story building was damaged. "At night, the occupiers struck Kupyansk again," Sinegubov reported. "A nine-story residential building was damaged as a result of the missile strike. Fortunately, five civilians are currently known to have been injured and require medical attention. The details and extent of the damage are being determined, but it is already clear that this is another act of aggression directed against the peaceful residents of our region." According to local services, rescue teams have already begun evacuating the population and sorting through the debris. People injured in the night strike are receiving the necessary assistance at the nearest medical facilities. The authorities are urging residents to stay in shelters and be careful, as the risk of missile strikes remains high. This event was another reminder of the constant risk to the civilian population in the Kharkiv region due to the ongoing military aggression. Local authorities assure that they are doing everything possible to strengthen the city's defenses and ensure the safety of residents around the clock, but the war continues to bring human losses and destruction.
