Russian military launched a horrific strike on the village of Vodyanye in Kharkiv region, killing one person and seriously wounding another. The information was confirmed by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, which published a detailed report on the incident on its Telegram channel, emphasizing the tragic consequences of the Russian airstrike. According to the prosecutor’s office, the tragedy occurred on June 25 at approximately 3:40 a.m. At that time, Russian fighter jets launched an airstrike on a private sector of the village of Vodyanye, which is part of the Kupyanskyi district. The enemy bomber hit a residential area, destroying houses and disturbing the peace of local residents. A 49-year-old woman who was at home died in the attack, and her husband of the same age was seriously injured. He was urgently hospitalized to the nearest hospital to provide the necessary medical care. The mystery of the death and the serious injury of the man occurred just a few hours after the previous day, at around 23:00 on June 24, residents of Kupyansk and surrounding settlements witnessed another attack. Then Russian planes carried out an airstrike on the city, as a result of which four women and two men received injuries of varying severity. They are currently in medical facilities, their condition is being assessed by doctors. This series of armed exploits on the part of the Russian side indicates a growing escalation of the conflict in the Kharkiv region, where the civilian population continues to suffer precisely for their sacrifice and resilience. Residents of Vodiane and neighboring settlements have long been accustomed to dangerous situations, but each new attack brings pain and fear, destroying not only homes but also human lives. The circumstances and scale of these attacks are still being clarified, but one thing is clear: the situation in the Kharkiv region remains tense and requires the fastest possible response from Ukrainian law enforcement agencies and the international community. After all, continuous raids and air strikes are significantly exacerbating the humanitarian crisis, creating many new needs for assistance to the victims and their families.
