Duda predicts Trump’s imminent visit to Poland: a new stage in Polish-American relations is possible

The acting President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, expressed confidence that former US President Donald Trump will visit Warsaw in the near future. He made this prediction during a press conference after participating in the NATO summit held in The Hague this week. Answering journalists' questions, the Polish leader said that the situation is currently preparing for the expected visits of the two statesmen, and his words have aroused considerable interest not only in Polish but also in international circles. According to President Duda, we can expect a visit to the White House by the newly elected Polish President Karol Nawrocki and, accordingly, US leader Donald Trump. Although the specific dates are still being agreed upon by all parties, expectations regarding the speed of implementation of these plans are quite optimistic. "Of course, the dates still need to be discussed and agreed, but I assume that these visits will take place very soon," Duda stressed. The President also emphasized the importance of his successor's meeting with Trump, which already took place in early May at the White House. According to him, such a meeting became a "great forecast" for the development of Polish-American relations. Duda noted that strengthening cooperation with the United States is a priority for any Polish leader. "The duty of every President of the Republic of Poland is to maintain and develop close ties with the United States. This process has been going on for many years, and I am deeply proud that during my term of office we have reached a level of relations that many call the best in our history," he noted. The second important message concerns Karol Nawrocki's personal meeting with Donald Trump at the White House on June 10. Then the new Polish president received an invitation from his American counterpart to Washington, which became one of the important signals of deepening cooperation. After this conversation, the US State Department expressed hope for further close dialogue with the new leadership of Ukraine, emphasizing that the prospect of developing a partnership with Poland is one of the priorities for Washington. At the same time, the geopolitical landscape is changing, and new challenges are opening up for Poland. Foreign policy experts note that Karol Nawrocki's victory is not only a challenge for the country's domestic policy, but also an opportunity to strengthen its positions in the international arena. As the stakes are rising, Ukraine, the US and Poland are now faced with a difficult choice of strategic steps that will have a significant impact on the balance of power in the region. The Polish political leader and diplomatic circle are widely discussing the possible future of strategic visits and meetings, which, according to Duda, are of "important symbolic and practical nature" for setting up new and long-term partnerships. It is expected that these diplomatic steps will be able to confirm the course for close cooperation between Poland and the United States, which is the key to stability and security in this region. Thus, the prospect of Donald Trump's imminent visit to Warsaw is already causing widespread discussion in political and analytical circles, as this event may become a new stage in the development of Ukrainian-Polish-American relations and determine the future of the region in the context of global geopolitical processes.
