Shelling of Nikopol region claimed four victims and caused significant destruction
During the night and morning hours, during another Russian attack, explosions were heard again in the Dnipropetrovsk region, in particular in the Nikopol district, which led to human and material losses. According to the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak, Russian troops purposefully attacked settlements in the district, using artillery and FPV drones, which caused serious destruction and human suffering. As the head of the region reported on his Telegram channel, the attack was large-scale and aimed at key targets in the district. He separately noted that during this attack, the occupiers shelled the territories of the picturesque Nikopol, as well as the Marhanets and Myriv communities during the day and night. As a result of this shelling, four people were injured. Among them were two women aged 34 and 40, as well as men aged 36 and 44. All of them are currently at home and receiving the necessary assistance and support. In addition to the human losses, the Russian attacks caused significant material damage. The shelling damaged an administrative building, a multi-storey residential building, two private residential buildings and one shop. This has resulted in housing problems and reduced security for local residents, who are now forced to recover from the consequences of the night's events. Local authorities and rescue services are already working on the ground to eliminate the consequences of the shelling, provide medical assistance to the victims and ensure the safety of the population. However, the situation leaves many questions about security and the need to strengthen the defense of the region to prevent new attacks in the future. Residents are being assured that the authorities are doing everything possible to restore normal life and protect their rights and interests during this difficult time.
