Russian drones attacked Sumy region at night: there is destruction and injuries
On the night of June 24, a new aggressive attempt by the Russian occupiers to harm the civilian population took place in the Sumy region. It is known that enemy drones again destroyed objects in the Verkhnyosyrovatsk community that night, which created a danger for local residents, destroyed housing and caused injuries among civilians. Information about this event was officially confirmed by the head of the Sumy regional military administration, Oleg Grigorov. According to him, the attack took place at the most irresponsible time - when people were sleeping, and in the darkness of the night Russian drones mercilessly attacked the residential sector. "That night, the enemy insidiously attacked the Verkhnyosyrovatsk community with strike drones. It was an unexpected and cynical defeat, aimed precisely at ordinary people who were sleeping peacefully in their homes," Grigorov noted. As a result of the fall of enemy drones, a fire broke out, which quickly engulfed several apartments and premises in the neighborhood. According to preliminary data, there are victims as a result of the attack - several citizens were injured, they are immediately taken to medical facilities for assistance. Firefighters, promptly responding to the signal, began to extinguish the fire, but the destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure has already been recorded. The head of the regional state administration emphasizes that the authorities are doing everything possible to stabilize the situation and provide the necessary assistance to the victims. "We are in full combat readiness, we are involving all relevant services and resources to quickly eliminate the consequences of the attack and support the residents of the Verkhnyosyrovatsk community," Grigorov emphasized. He also called on citizens to be careful and follow safety recommendations at this difficult time for the region. This incident once again emphasizes the persistence and cruelty of Russian attacks on peaceful objects in the Sumy region, which have been going on for many months.
