Russia launches missile strike on Dnipro: bridge engulfed in explosions
Explosions have been heard again in Dnipro – Russian occupation forces have launched a missile strike on a peaceful city. According to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional administration, Serhiy Lysak, the situation remains tense, and information about the consequences of the attack is currently being clarified. "The enemy attacked the Dnipro. A series of explosions were heard. Detailed information about the damage and victims is still being clarified," Lysak said in his official comment. He added that the situation is under control and special services are working to clarify all the circumstances. Before that, Air Force specialists reported on the threat of the enemy using ballistic weapons and detected two high-speed targets moving in the direction of the Dnipro. This indicates preparations for a new escalation, the possible use of missiles of various types to damage the city's infrastructure. Local residents heard powerful explosions, which combined into a series of loud sounds, disturbing the population and causing increased tension. According to the military, an operational assessment of the situation and ensuring the safety of citizens is currently underway. The military called on everyone to follow safety rules and prepare for possible repeated attacks in the near future. The city of Dnipro is not the first time that it has been the target of missile strikes in this war, and each attack affects residential areas, infrastructure and enterprises, which creates an additional challenge for local authorities and rescue services. Ukrainian defenders continue to strengthen their defenses and fight for the safety of citizens, despite the scale and complexity of the situation on the front.
