Rainy and thunderstorm weather to continue in eastern and northern Ukraine
On Wednesday, short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected in the eastern and southeastern parts of the country, as well as in some places in the north at night. In general, the rest of Ukraine will remain dry. According to Interfax-Ukraine and the Ukrhydrometeorological Center, winds will be mainly westerly at a speed of 7-12 meters per second. In some western and Zhytomyr regions, gusts of wind up to 15-20 m/s are possible, which creates additional difficulties for residents and tourists. The temperature regime during the day will fluctuate from cool nights to warm weather during the day. At night, the thermometer will rise to 12-17 degrees Celsius, and in the south of the country, in some places, it will reach 20 degrees. Daytime temperatures are expected to be within 21-26 degrees, while in the southern regions, Transcarpathia and Prykarpattia the columns will rise to 27-32 degrees. In Kyiv on June 25, the night will be without precipitation, and short-term rains are possible during the day. The wind will be mainly westerly, with a speed of 7-12 m/s, gusts during the day will reach 15-20 m/s. The temperature in the capital will drop to 14-16 degrees at night, and rise to 23-25 degrees during the day. The next day — Thursday — the temperature is expected to be 14-19 degrees at night, without significant precipitation, except that short-term rain and local thunderstorms are most likely to occur in the northern and central regions. During the day, most regions will also be dry, only short-term rains and thunderstorms are possible on the Left Bank. The wind will again form from the west and north-west at a speed of 7-12 m/s, gusts in some areas will reach 15-20 m/s. The temperature range at night will be 14-19 degrees, in Kyiv and other regions - 15-17 degrees, during the day it will warm up to 20-22 degrees. In general, significant precipitation is not expected in most regions - weather conditions will remain mostly dry, but in places short-term local rains and thunderstorms are possible, caused by westerly winds. It is worth noting that the weather regime in the coming days will remain changeable, so Ukrainians and tourists should prepare for possible temperature fluctuations and short-term rains.
