The Dutch Ministry of Defense has announced a new large-scale package of military aid to Ukraine worth more than 175 million euros. The main component of this is currently the transfer of modern radars to detect drones, which is a key element in protecting Ukrainian territory from drone attacks and other aerial threats. According to sources of "European Truth", the country is allocating 100 radars capable of quickly and accurately detecting drones, as well as transmitting the information received to air defense systems that can quickly neutralize the threat. All radar complexes should be delivered by the end of this year, which will significantly strengthen Ukraine's defense potential in war conditions. In addition, the package includes 20 partially unmanned modular vehicles called Ermine CASEVAC, which are designed to evacuate wounded soldiers from the battlefield. This is an important element in the medical evacuation system, which will significantly increase the chances of survival of our defenders in combat conditions. The Netherlands also plans to allocate another 80 million euros within the framework of the international drone coalition, previously announced from an investment of 20 million euros. These funds will be directed to the purchase and development of unmanned systems capable of performing a variety of tasks - from reconnaissance to striking enemy targets. In general, the new aid package for Ukraine complements the previously announced contributions - 400 million euros, aimed at ensuring maritime security and countering Russian aggression. At the same time, at the end of the week, the Netherlands signed a contract with Ukrainian manufacturers for the supply of about 600 thousand drones worth more than 500 million euros. This is a large-scale project that should strengthen Ukraine's defense potential and advance its capabilities in conducting modern warfare. Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans recently confirmed that after the completion of the transfer of all 24 F-16 fighters to Ukraine, the development of unmanned technologies will be a priority in military assistance. According to him, modern warfare is increasingly centered around unmanned systems, and the Netherlands seeks to help Ukraine become one of the leading forces on this front. This indicates a change in the country's strategic course and its orientation towards supporting high-tech means in the fight against the aggressor.
