Donald Trump has once again made a loud statement regarding the Iran-Israel conflict: has the moment for peace come?

The former US president inspiredly reported that Israel and Iran almost simultaneously appealed to him with a call for reconciliation, and, according to him, it is possible very soon. In his publication on the social network Truths, Trump claims that both sides allegedly expressed a desire for peace, and emphasized: "I realized that the time has come. The world and the Middle East are true winners. Both nations have a chance to see their future filled with love, peace and prosperity, but they must stay away from the path of injustice and falsehood. They have much to gain, but they also have much to lose." Before that, as part of diplomatic and military upheavals, Trump announced a possible truce, which he hopes to make permanent. It is important to note that Iran, from its official sources, confirmed its readiness not to resort to new military actions in the region provided that Israel stops strikes on Iranian facilities. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi emphasized that Tehran does not plan to use force unless new attacks are heard from the Israeli side. He thanked his country's armed forces for their high mobilization and professionalism, and hinted that the hostilities have probably ceased, since "the operations continued until the last minute." However, the real situational events on the ground say otherwise. The Israeli military said that in response to possible missile attacks, they recorded the launch of missiles from Iranian territory in their direction and are currently taking measures to intercept them. This emphasizes the high level of tension in the region and the difficulty of achieving real peace. At the same time, there is no confirmation of the creation of a long-term truce, and all parties remain vigilant, expecting new decisive steps or military action later. Thus, Trump's statements came at a time when tensions between Israel and Iran have reached their peak, and all parties to the conflict are trying to find a way to peace, but the realities are haunting the challenges and incompleteness of the process. Whether this new diplomatic beginning will bring the long-awaited stable peace in the region is still an open question.
