As a result of a missile or sabotage attack by the occupiers, the infrastructure of one of the key metro stations—"Sviato-Shyn"—was damaged. Restoration work on the damaged infrastructure has already begun, but this route is not yet open for traffic. Other entrances and exits at Sviato-Shyn station are functioning normally, and the metro schedule remains unchanged, allowing passengers to continue using the metro with no significant restrictions. The Ministry of Transport and the Kyiv City Administration warn that, due to the consequences of the shelling, public transport in this part of the city has been partially disrupted. Specifically, movement near Sviato-Shyn station and on Ivan Vygovsky Street is restricted, slightly complicating the mobility of residents and visitors of the capital. Public transport authorities have quickly adjusted routes to ensure uninterrupted operation. According to the new schedule, trolleybuses No. 4, 5, 26, and 35 run to Valeriy Marchenko Square, and route No. 36TR now operates from Pivichna Street to the European Union Avenue and further to Chornobylska Street, establishing a new connection due to the temporary closure of part of the route. Bus No. 32 now runs from Litovs'ky Prospect to Bilyts'ka Street, while buses No. 37 and its variants (37A) operate via Nivki station, providing an alternative route for passengers. The most challenging situation involves disruptions in the operation of buses No. 90, which now follow the route of No. 23, potentially causing minor delays. Additionally, due to the temporary closure between Pivnichna Street and Chornobylska Street, route No. 36TR has been divided into two separate segments, demonstrating the quick response of service agencies to unforeseen circumstances. Currently, restoration work on the damaged infrastructure of Sviato-Shyn metro station is ongoing. Local authorities urge residents to remain vigilant, exercise caution, and use alternative routes. The city administration also reminds residents about the importance of safety and advises avoiding unfamiliar areas during high-risk periods.
