Over one hundred and twenty-seven battles and skirmishes were recorded on the front during the day, which indicates a high level of combat activity on the part of the Russian occupiers

Such data is provided by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 22:00 on June 23, emphasizing the scale and intensity of Russian attacks in various directions. This is reported in the summary of the military department, which also provides a detailed analysis of the situation in key sectors of the front. In total, over the past day, Ukrainian defenders have repelled 127 combat clashes with the enemy, which indicates high tension and constant concentration of Ukrainian forces to protect territorial integrity. Russia carried out three missile strikes, 19 air strikes, used 17 missiles, and dropped 37 ammunition from kamikaze drones. At the same time, the enemy has intensified the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, as a result of which more than a thousand kamikaze drones were dropped, and shelling of settlements and positions of Ukrainian troops amounted to thousands of cases. The main efforts of the enemy are concentrated in several main directions. In particular, in the Severno-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, the Ukrainian military successfully repelled six out of eight enemy attacks, and two more clashes are ongoing. Russian artillery and aviation were especially active in the Pokrovsky direction, where the enemy carried out 49 attacks - near such settlements as Promin, Novotoretske, Myrolyubivka and others. Here the Russians intensified their efforts to break through the Ukrainian defense, but the Ukrainian servicemen held out and defended their positions. In the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy tried to storm Ukrainian positions near Dvorichnaya, Vovchansky Khutory, Krasnye Pershe and Figolivka four times - all these attempts were repulsed. In the Kupyansk direction, four attacks were stopped that tried to break through the Ukrainian defenses in the areas of Kindrashivka, Kruglyakivka, as well as in the directions of Pishchane and Petropavlivka. In total, in the areas of Tverdokhlibovoye, Ridkodub, Karpivka, Kolodyazy and around Hrekivka, Zelenaya Dolyna, Novy Mir and Olhivka, more than twenty attacks of the invaders were stopped, which indicates a high mobilization and determination of the Ukrainian defenders. In the Siversk direction, the enemy pushed back one offensive attempt in the area of Hryhorivka, but no larger breakthroughs occurred. In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian troops successfully stopped ten attempts by the enemy to advance in the areas of Novomarkovo, Chasovoi Yar and in the directions of Mykolaivka, Stupochok, Pryvillya, Bondarne. In the Toretsk direction, the occupiers made 24 attempts to storm Ukrainian positions in the areas of Diliivka, Shcherbynivka, Petrivka, Yablunivka, Rusynyi Yar and around Pleshchiivka and Yablunivka - all attacks were successfully repelled. In the Pokrovsky direction, Russian troops showed particular activity - 49 attacks per day, which indicates their purposeful attempt to break through the Ukrainian defense near important strategic points. The eastern and southern areas of this defense line are densely covered with Russian artillery and aviation, in particular, they tried to break through near such settlements as Myrnograd, Novuserhiivka, Alekseevka and others. Here, our troops hold the defense and destroy the enemy. In the Novopavlivske direction, Ukrainian troops stopped 14 attempts to break through the invaders near the centers of Bahatyr, Novosilka, Zaporizhzhia, Perestroika, as well as in the Voskresenka directions. In the Orikhivske direction, the enemy carried out an air strike in the area of Malaya Tokmachka - enemy activity in this direction remains high, but the Ukrainian Defenders once again managed to repel all attempts to advance. In the Prydniprovske direction, Russian troops tried to break through Ukrainian positions in the area of responsibility six times - all these attacks were successfully stopped by our defenders. This confirms the fact of the steady and effective resistance of the Ukrainian military, which minimizes the enemy's successes and maintains control over critically important territories. In general, the situation remains tense, but controlled, as the Ukrainian security forces demonstrate high combat training and an unyielding will to defend the country. Military activity in the east and south continues, and as long as Ukrainian defenders hold their ground, the enemy suffers significant losses and fails to achieve its objectives. This testifies to the effectiveness of the Ukrainian military and the resilience of the Ukrainian people in this difficult struggle for independence and territorial integrity.
