Ukraine is once again on the brink of alarm — Russian occupiers have intensified a massive attack using kamikaze drones of strike type

During the night, when most Ukrainians are trying to find peace, the skies over Kyiv and several other regions were filled with kamikaze drones, and the capital’s air defense systems once again operated in an enhanced mode. This happened after a spike in activity of enemy UAVs was recorded, moving along chaotic routes, creating far from peaceful scenes in the skies over Ukrainian cities. According to sources in the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the situation is quite tense: during the night, Kyiv and its surrounding area were covered by coordinated air defense. Kyiv’s mayor Vitali Klitschko reported on his Telegram channel that air defense forces were activated around midnight in the Obolon district, indicating a potential repeat attack or an attempt by the enemy to create panic. In addition to the capital, the situation in Kyiv region remained complex: many drones were moving through the region, and preliminary data suggests their probable course heading specifically toward Kyiv. Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA) head Tymur Tkachенко emphasized that the situation is under control, but security forces are constantly battling the drone pressure. He noted that active work by air defense forces continues in Kyiv, while in neighboring districts of the region, a large flow of drones moving along chaotic routes has also been observed — this movement indicates attempts by the enemy to complicate their interception and destabilize the situation. The Kyiv Regional Military Administration also reported on drone activity in the region. This is especially relevant as any breakthrough into the airspace could have catastrophic consequences for the population and critical infrastructure. The Ukrainian Air Forces warned about a large concentration of enemy strike drones, which occasionally change their direction during movement, creating even greater danger for aviation and ground defense systems. Updated data indicate that regions such as Sumy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Kirovohrad, Odesa, Vinnytsia, and Zhytomyr are under alert for drone activity. Local officials and defense structures are making every effort to neutralize this aggression, but the level of enemy activity indicates that attempts to penetrate Ukrainian territory via drones continue. Military and security services are urging the population to be vigilant, and air defense systems to operate cohesively, to reduce the consequences of such attacks and to prevent possible destruction and casualties. Overall, the situation remains complex and tense, with Ukrainian defenders once again demonstrating a high level of professionalism by repelling numerous enemy attempts to strike critical infrastructure and peaceful residents. At the same time, this night again calls on Ukrainians to remain attentive to all safety measures and to be prepared for any surprises, as the situation in the skies remains very tense.
