In Zaporizhzhia region, Ukrainian intel agents achieved an important and significant victory by destroying Russian railway tankers carrying fuel on temporarily occupied territory

This event became yet another vivid confirmation of the effectiveness of Ukrainian espionage and high-tech methods of combating the aggressor, which are actively being implemented by Ukrainian special services. On June 22, on one of the railway sections between Levadne and Molochansk, Ukrainian intelligence forces carried out a successful operation that disrupted the enemy’s logistical chain. Sources from the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine report that they acted in close coordination with several special units. Specifically, the operation involved the "Kabul 9" unit of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, as well as units "Khortytsia," "Alpha," and the "Next" communications group. Through joint efforts, they successfully attacked a railway "railcar train" carrying Russian fuel, which was moving to supply the occupying forces. A distinctive feature of this strike was the use of combat drones of military intelligence. With their help, several railway tanks containing diesel fuel and other lubricants—serving as vital supplies for Russian troops in the region—were destroyed. As a result of the raid, black smoke and flames rose into the sky, symbolizing the destruction of enemy logistics and boosting the morale of Ukrainian forces and resistance. This incident is just one in a series of targeted operations conducted by Ukrainian special services in the Zaporizhzhia region. On June 18, the intelligence already announced successes in destroying Russian air defense systems in adjacent territories, highlighting the systematic and high level of training of Ukrainian military personnel during special operations. Overall, the events of June 22 once again underscore Ukraine’s ability to operate effectively in the enemy’s rear areas, destroy their logistical chains, and strengthen morale. The destruction of Russian fuel stocks in occupied areas is a key method of reducing enemy mobility and combat potential, thus contributing to the continued success of Ukrainian advances and defensive operations. Ukraine continues to employ the most modern methods and tools of warfare to exhaust and weaken the occupation regime in this strategically vital region.
