In the Zaporizhzhia district, stable energy supply has been disrupted again due to another Russian missile attack

According to the latest reports, as a result of the enemy strike, about five thousand residents are without power. They have been evacuated from heating and residential facilities in several settlements of the region. This information was confirmed by Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration. He stated that energy specialists are already preparing to begin recovery works, but repairs will only commence once the security situation allows experts to carry out repair and restoration activities safely and effectively. Continuous shelling and air raid alerts make the recovery process extremely difficult. Additionally, an unforeseen emergency occurred in Zaporizhzhia — during the attack, a fire broke out in one of the private homes. Fortunately, there are no reports of casualties among residents; quick response by rescue workers from the State Emergency Service ensured the situation was contained, and the fire was extinguished without further complications. This is not the first incident in recent times where Ukrainian cities and villages are under attack. Earlier, in the Zaporizhzhia region and several other areas, an air alarm was declared due to the potential threat of missile and drone attacks from Russia. This indicates increasing tension and long-term danger for civilians and infrastructure. On Sunday evening, the enemy launched another attack on Ukraine with combat drones of the UAV type. Russian forces are attempting to intensify pressure by resorting to new missile and drone strikes, further highlighting the dangerous escalation in the region. Ukrainian authorities urge residents to remain vigilant and follow safety protocols, as ongoing shelling and alerts have been keeping people's lives under constant stress in recent days. Local authorities and energy services are working diligently to restore damaged networks, but challenging conditions are currently putting a pause on their efforts. Ukrainian defenders and all those assisting with recovery efforts tirelessly fight to restore stability and security directly in the region.
