The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has published the daily operational report regarding the situation on the frontlines, noting significant activity by Russian forces over the past day and an increase in combat engagements across the entire front perimeter
Overall, nearly 190 individual attacks and assaults were recorded, indicating a high intensity of aggression and the enemy’s efforts to break through or encircle Ukrainian positions in several key directions. According to Ukrainian command data, Ukrainian defenders repelled a total of 188 combat encounters over the last 24 hours, with more than 50 of them occurring specifically in the Pokrovsk direction — one of the most active areas at the epicenter of hostilities. This reflects a tense situation in this part of the front, where the enemy is attempting to breach the Ukrainian defensive line or intensify tactical pressure. Regarding the use of military equipment and the destruction of enemy targets, the General Staff reports that Ukrainian forces successfully struck 18 enemy concentration areas of military equipment and personnel over the past day. Additionally, they destroyed individual combat assets, command posts, including UAVs, and other critical objects. The situation remains particularly tense in several strategic directions. On the northern fronts, including the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Ukrainian troops managed to hold their positions from 38 attacks by enemy assault groups, stabilizing the situation and preventing a breakthrough in this sector. Defensive measures involved blocking the enemy’s advance, while the enemy carried out 10 air strikes in this sector, deploying over 20 guided bombs, and conducted more than 150 artillery shellings against Ukrainian units and populated areas. On the southern fronts, enemy activity continues unabated. In particular, on the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy launched 15 assault attempts against Ukrainian positions in the areas of Zelenyi, Hlyboke, Kamyanka, Fyholivka, and Vovchansk, but all attacks were successfully repelled by defenders. Similarly, on the Kupiansk front, Russian forces unsuccessfully tried to break through Ukrainian lines with three attacks near Stepova, Novoselivka, and Holubivka. In the Lyman sector, fighting persisted throughout the day, with Ukrainian forces repelling 14 assault attempts toward settlements such as Novyi Myr, Olhivka, Hrekivka, Ridkodub, as well as in the directions of Karpivka and Hlushchenkove. This once again confirms the resilience of Ukrainian defense in this part of the front. In the eastern part of the country, particularly in the Sievierodonetsk direction, the enemy launched seven attacks toward Hryhoriivka and Ivan-Darivka, but all attempts were successfully repelled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. On the Kramatorsk direction, seven clashes were recorded near Blohory, Predtecha, and Stupochky, while in the Toretsk sector, the enemy conducted over 20 attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Bilo-Hora, Diliivka, Shcherbyneve, and toward Yablunivka. The fighting is especially intense in the Pokrovsk direction, where Ukrainian defenders have managed to halt 53 enemy assault and attack attempts in the areas of Poltava, Myrne, Malynivka, Myrolubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Myrnohrad, Novomykolaivka, Muravka, Horikhove, Oleksiivka, Udyne, Nadiivka, and Srebrne, as well as in two additional directions — Volodymyrivka and Novopavlivka. This indicates considerable tension on this part of the front, where Ukrainian forces continue to hold the line. Another important sector is Novopavlivka, where the enemy attempted to breach Ukrainian positions 15 times, attacking areas of Odhradne, Bahatyrya, Veseloho, Fedorivka, Vilne Polye, and Shevchenka. All these attempts were successfully contained by Ukrainian defenders. In the Huliaipole sector, Ukrainian forces repelled one attack near Malynivka, demonstrating continuous readiness and high discipline among defenders. On the Orihiv front, Ukrainian forces repelled two Russian attacks directed toward Novoaandriivka, and in the Dnipro region, one attack was repelled near the Antonivskyi Bridge, again highlighting enemy activity at key points along the front. Overall, the situation remains tense, but Ukrainian troops continue to demonstrate high combat proficiency and resilience, capable of holding back the enemy under the most difficult conditions, maintaining control over strategic positions, and striving toward future victories and the liberation of temporarily occupied territories.
