Russian missiles and drones again struck Kryvyi Rih: casualties and destruction

According to reports from the Poltava Regional Military Administration, as well as from official sources from the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and independent news agencies "Radio Liberty," the recent attack resulted in direct hits and falling debris on key critical infrastructure objects, including energy supply facilities. Open areas of the city also suffered damage. Emergency services, known as the State Emergency Service, have already begun to respond to the consequences of the attack, working to minimize damage and find those affected. Local media report that as a result of the incident, one person received moderate injuries and is currently in a medical facility, with their condition stable. At the same time, official sources state that significant destruction was avoided thanks to timely anti-aircraft measures and residents' alert notifications. Since the night, military reports have indicated targets passing in the sky above Kryvyi Rih, indicating active work by air defense systems. According to information obtained by "Radio Liberty" and local information sources, about 40 explosions were heard within several minutes — all evidence of the scale and targeted actions of the enemy. The sounds and eyewitness testimony confirm that the Russians employed a combined attack with high intensity. It is recalled that on the night of June 15, the occupiers carried out a similar massive attack on Kryvyi Rih, using missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This time, they targeted the energy and agricultural infrastructure, critically important for the city's and region's survival. This is a tactic of fighting Ukrainian resistance and intimidating the population, which has been under pressure from destruction and war for the third year. While the situation remains tense, residents of Kryvyi Rih and surrounding areas continue to await the end of the alarm and cautiously assess the extent of the destruction. Official services do not rule out the possibility of new attacks and strongly urge everyone to adhere to safety protocols. This night attack is yet another reminder that the war in the region continues and its consequences are felt daily.
