Over the past 24 hours, the situation at the front remains tense and volatile: Ukrainian defenders repelled a total of 128 combat engagements
The main enemy pressure is concentrated in the eastern part of the country, particularly along the Pokrovsk direction, where the fiercest battles are ongoing, and the largest and most frequent assaults are taking place. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the course of the day, the Russian occupiers employed a wide range of strike weapons. The enemy carried out 4 missile strikes and 54 air strikes, dropped over 80 guided aerial bombs, used more than 1,100 kamikaze drones, and conducted several thousand artillery shellings with prohibited and heavy artillery. In total, at least 43 assault raids were recorded on the front line. Ukrainian military personnel showed resilience and professionalism, destroying no fewer than 222 occupiers — of whom 126 suffered irrecoverable losses. Additionally, Ukrainian defenders damaged and destroyed several pieces of enemy equipment, including tanks, motorcycles, vehicles, kamikaze drones, and also damaged and neutralized communication equipment, antennas, and communication terminals. Regarding the dynamics of hostilities in specific directions — the situation remains tense. In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Ukrainian forces repelled 7 enemy attacks. In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, 6 attacks were recorded, and in the Kupiansk direction — 5. The Lyman direction continues to be a hotspot of active fighting: 12 assaults have been recorded there, with 4 more combat engagements ongoing. Ukrainian troops in these regions continue to resist — no reports have indicated the complete end of clashes yet. In the north, in the Sieviersk direction, 12 enemy attacks were recorded, 8 of which are still ongoing. On the Kramatorsk direction, there are 6 attacks, one of which — the most intense — continues. Similarly, in the Toretsk direction, fighting is underway with 10 attacks, one of which remains unresolved. Less intense are the situations in the Ocherkiv direction — with 3 attacks — and in the Dnipro direction — with 2 attacks, two of which are still ongoing. On the Novopavlivske line, enemy efforts are bearing fruit: 4 attacks are underway, with two still ongoing. Despite the powerful enemy push, Ukrainian defenders have managed to hold their positions and continue to resist. The best-organized and most effective units are the artillerymen of the 406th Brigade and the Makhura Mechanized Brigade (47th Separate Mechanized Brigade), which are transitioning to counteroffensive actions, inflicting significant losses on the enemy and complicating their further offensive operations. The front remains tense, but the Ukrainian army confidently maintains its defenses, relying on ongoing support and rapid reaction in case of any changes in the situation. At the same time, military command emphasizes that the enemy continues to search for weak spots and tries to destabilize Ukrainian defenses — therefore, "vigilance, courage, and focus" remain the key values for Ukrainian soldiers defending the country’s integrity.
