As a result of enemy shelling in Dnipropetrovsk region, seven civilians were injured, including quite young people who received wounds during the attack

Official sources report that on June 21, missile and artillery strikes by Russian occupiers caused a serious escalation in the region. According to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, during the attack, entire areas within zones of potential threat were targeted — notably, the communities of Nikopol, Marganets, Chervonohryhorivka, and Pokrovsk. Active hostilities took place throughout the day there, involving not only heavy artillery but also drones. Based on information provided by regional officials, Ukrainian security services recorded drone launches and artillery strikes that caused infrastructure destruction, fires, and human casualties. As a result of the enemy attacks, seven civilians aged between 21 and 63 were injured. Among them is a 63-year-old man who was hospitalized in a moderate condition, and six others with varying degrees of injuries, some of whom received outpatient treatment. Details about the injured were released by Mykola Lukashuk, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, and military officials. Unfortunately, the shelling caused significant damage in the region. Two fires broke out due to the attacks; several private houses were destroyed, utility structures and vehicles damaged. Additionally, there were damages at a gas station — equipment and structures were damaged, and fires occurred nearby the destruction zones. Local authorities report that local infrastructure has been heavily affected, creating additional difficulties for residents and emergency medical crews. Mykola Lukashuk added that among the wounded are residents of various ages: 21, 22, 27, 29, 37, 40, and 63 years old. All received necessary medical assistance and are currently under medical supervision. The authorities urge residents to stay vigilant and adhere to safety protocols during active hostilities. Volunteering and rescue services are operating in intensified mode to eliminate the consequences of enemy strikes and assist those affected. Investigations and efforts to uncover additional facts regarding the destruction and casualties are ongoing, as the situation in the region remains tense and unpredictable.
