According to official information from the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, at least one civilian was injured as a result of missile and artillery strikes, and significant damage to infrastructure and residential objects has been recorded. As reported by the regional administrator in his Telegram channel, overnight explosions rocked the Nikopol district, causing alarm and unrest among local residents. He specified that several settlements were specifically targeted—namely, the city of Nikopol, as well as the communities of Pokrovsk, Marganets, and Myrivka. The attacks involved multiple launch rocket systems "Grad," artillery, and FPV drones. One of the primary consequences of this armed assault was a serious injury sustained by a 39-year-old resident of the area. The man received severe wounds and is currently hospitalized in critical condition. His fate is now under medical supervision, and the entire region is overshadowed by anxiety and empathy. Authorities are urging people to follow safety protocols, as the threat of enemy attacks remains increasingly real. Many infrastructure objects have been damaged or destroyed. Specifically, two industrial enterprises and two educational institutions—schools or kindergartens—were brutally affected by the hits. Additionally, several private homes were damaged, a gas pipeline was partially destroyed, complicating gas supply for residents, and several vehicles were also damaged. These destructions add to the tension in local communities, which have long been living in a state of constant anxiety. Photographic evidence published by Serhiy Lysak in his Telegram channel vividly illustrates the extent of the destruction and chaos caused by the nighttime artillery shelling. Residents are making every effort to restore damaged infrastructure and rekindle hope for peaceful life. Meanwhile, local authorities call for unity and resilience, emphasizing the need to enhance safety measures and respond quickly in case of new shelling. Residents of Nikopolskyi district are once again experiencing nights filled with explosions, hoping that soon the situation will improve and peace and calm will return to their land. Ukrainian defenders and civilians are doing their best to halt the aggression and restore normal life to their communities. All concerned are urged to stay safe, follow recommendations, and support each other during this difficult time.
