By analyzing the situation with the help of experts from the Deepstate project, specialists conclude that enemy activity remained high throughout the month, with the second decade even marked by a significant escalation in attacks. According to the research data, in June, the level of combat activity across all sectors of the front was quite stable. While in May the average daily number of attacks was 184, in June this figure increased to 186. Moreover, the Russians demonstrated a true "attack fever," as during five days (from June 10 to 14) they conducted over 200 assault operations every day. This indicates a purposeful effort to break through Ukrainian defenses and reinforce their presence in the temporarily occupied territories. The key directions of Russian active offensives in June include the Pokrovskyi, Kurskyi, Novopavlivskyi, Lyman, and Toretsk sectors. The most intense fighting occurred on the Pokrovskyi front, where, according to Deepstate, 32% of all attacks took place—approximately every third operation by Russian forces. A high level of activity was also recorded in the Kurskyi sector (16.4%), Novopavlivskyi (15%), Lyman (10.3%), and Toretsk (9.5%). Collectively, these directions became the arena for over 83% of all Russian assault actions, indicating that the enemy is deliberately concentrating its efforts on these key points. Overall, as a result of the past day, there were 176 combat engagements on the front lines, including 52 on the Pokrovskyi sector and 29 on the Lyman sector. These figures once again confirm the enemy’s efforts to intensify hostilities at critical points to push their positions forward and hinder our defenses. In the evening of June 16, the analytical project DeepState reported another significant increase in Russian activity—advancement of their units near settlements in Sumy and Donetsk regions. This repeatedly confirms that the enemy continues targeted attempts to intensify pressure and secure strategically advantageous positions, which will have long-term consequences for the situation at the front. Ukrainian troops continue to hold the line and do everything possible to restrain further offensive actions by pro-Russian forces.
