The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces published data on the situation at the front as of the morning of June 19, which again indicates a tense and complex situation across all strategic sectors
According to the command's report, over the past day, a record number of combat engagements was recorded — more than 130 individual clashes, illustrating continuous tension and enemy activity, which continues to employ a wide variety of weapons and tactics. According to official information from the staff, the enemy forces launched one missile strike with a radar system and carried out 33 air attacks. Enemy pilots and missile carriers used five cruise missiles and over thirty guided aerial bombs. Additionally, the occupiers continue to deploy an unprecedented number of kamikaze drones — a total of 899 unmanned aerial vehicles were launched, creating a significant load on Ukrainian defenses. Besides missile strikes, the enemy stepped up artillery fire, conducting a total of 3,504 shellings on Ukrainian positions and local settlements, aiming to weaken the defensive line and intimidate local residents. In some directions, the situation remains extremely tense. For instance, on the North-Sloviansk and Kursk directions, 13 combat clashes were recorded from the early morning: Russian troops attempted to advance, while Ukrainian defenders held their positions, repelling enemy attacks. This is one of the hottest sectors, with several fierce encounters lasting throughout the day. On the South Slobozhansky direction, the occupiers made nine attempts to advance, deliberately attacking Ukrainian defensive positions in the Vovchansk, Zelene, and Stroiivka regions. The enemy tried to break through the Ukrainian front and inflict maximum losses, but Ukrainian defenders held their ground, preventing the enemy’s progress. Greater tension is observed in the Kupiansk direction, where Russian forces again made two assault attempts near Stepove and Novoselivka. Fierce battles took place here recently, but Ukrainian soldiers managed to repel the attack and maintain control over strategic positions. In the Lyman sector, which remains one of the most active in the region, the enemy conducted 29 attacks in areas such as Novy Miro, Hlushchenke, Hrekivka, Nadiya, Ridkodub, Karpivka, Zelenina Dolyna, Yampolivka, and Hryhorivka. Ukrainian troops are holding their positions despite pressure, which is rarely easy given the number and intensity of enemy attacks. On the Siversky direction, the enemy launched four assaults on defensive fortifications in the areas of Hryhorivka and Ivan-Darivka. However, Ukrainian forces again repelled these attacks and prevented the enemy from advancing, demonstrating that Ukraine’s defense remains steady and coordinated. On the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy carried out 13 attacks in the Chasiv Yar area and around Stupochki, Predtechi, and Bila Hory. The situation here remains tense, with Ukrainian defenders holding their positions and repelling all enemy attempts to break through. Meanwhile, on the Toretsk sector, 19 combat clashes were recorded in the areas of Petrovka, Oleksandr-Kalynove, Yablenivka, Rusynyi Yar, and around Diliivka. The enemy is attempting to advance deeper into Ukrainian positions, but Ukrainian artillery and infantry are steadfast in their defense. Specifically, on the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces launched at least 37 attacks in the areas of Poltavka, Myrne, Myrolubivka, Koptiive, Promin’, Lysivka, Kotline, Udachne, Novosergiivka, Horikhove, Oleksiiivka, and Novoukrainka. Ukrainian defenders are showing courage and resilience despite the enemy’s numerical superiority. On the Novopavlivskyi direction, Ukrainian troops repelled seven attacks in the areas of Zaporizhzhia, Peredbuzhivka, Bahatyre, Novosilka, and Shevchenko. Meanwhile, on the Huliaipole sector, the enemy used aviation to strike Zalyznyi, but their attempts to advance here were unsuccessful. Another important fact is that in the Dnipro direction, the enemy attempted one breach but was defeated and unable to push forward. This once again confirms Ukraine’s army’s capability to hold the defense and prevent the enemy’s advancement. Overall, the situation remains extremely tense and requires constant attention and mobilization of all Ukrainian defense resources to contain enemy aggression. Simultaneously, Ukrainian defenders demonstrate courage and resilience in the fight for the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, despite significant difficulties and losses caused by the enemy.
