Russian occupiers struck the Dnipropetrovsk region again, causing significant destruction and human casualties
According to the latest reports, five residents of the region were injured as a result of nighttime shelling, which occurred over an extended period from the enemy in various districts of the region. In addition to human losses, residential and infrastructural facilities were damaged, and a car was burned as a result of the attack. The situation was reported by Serhiy Lysak, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, in his official Telegram channel. He stated that from the evening until late at night, the aggressor continued shelling, using drones and artillery to strike important objects in the region. The attacks were especially concentrated on Nikopol and the surrounding communities — Mriivska and Marganetska. "After the evening shelling, we have damage and five wounded. A private residential house and several infrastructure objects were affected, including a burned car. This is yet another proof that the enemy is conducting targeted aggression against our peaceful communities," Lysak emphasized. It is particularly noteworthy that the incident occurred in the Samara district, where, according to reports, a large fire broke out due to a drone attack, engulfing several areas. Residential buildings and industrial facilities were also damaged as a result of the shelling, raising concerns about security and stability in the region. The head of the regional military administration summarized that the air defense forces managed to shoot down three enemy drones over Dnipropetrovsk region. "During the night, our units destroyed three enemy drones attempting to penetrate our territory," Lysak added. "This is another example of our ability to protect the population and minimize damage from enemy attacks." The reaction of local residents and authorities is currently focused on assessing the damage and providing necessary assistance to those affected. It is expected that the government and military services will conduct further investigations and take measures to strengthen the region’s defenses. However, the situation remains tense, and residents continue to live in a state of alarm and anxiety due to the possibility of new shelling and attacks by the occupiers.
