During the past 24 hours, Ukrainian military forces repelled 136 attacks by Russian occupation forces, demonstrating a high level of tension on the front and the persistence of Ukrainian defenders in their fight to protect their territory

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since June 18, the enemy has intensified all its capabilities to strike Ukrainian positions and settlements, conducting extensive aviation and artillery operations on various front lines, with a particular focus on the Pokrovsk direction. Official reports indicate that during this period, Russian forces schemed to drop guided bombs and launched kamikaze drones in an attempt to destroy Ukrainian forces and infrastructure. Only in sources is there information about 32 airstrikes, during which the enemy dropped 43 guided bombs. Additionally, using nearly a thousand drone-kamikaze units, Russian aggressors tried to strike Ukrainian positions and towns, launching over 3,600 artillery shells of various calibers. The situation was especially tense in the Pokrovsk area, where from morning to evening, the enemy carried out 40 attacks in the regions of Malynivka, Lysivka, Myrolyubivka, Myrne, Promin, Novopavlivka, Myrnohrad, Udaine, Novoserhiyivka, Kotlyarivka, Oleksiivka, as well as in the directions of Novopidgirtsne, Poltavka, and Popov Yar. According to preliminary reports from the Ukrainian front, the military managed to neutralize at least 184 occupiers, with 95 of them being irrecoverably lost. Furthermore, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed several enemy vehicles and equipment—a combat armored vehicle, several antennas, a repeater, motorcycles, a radio-electronic warfare station, vehicles, satellite communication terminals, and a large number of drones. According to representatives of the General Staff, during this period, Ukrainian defenders managed to destroy and damage a significant amount of enemy equipment: a multi-purpose lightly armored transporter, an enemy motorcycle, and two enemy firing positions. This raises questions about Russia's ability to hold captured positions and evidences that Ukrainian forces continue to effectively counter the aggression. In other sectors, the situation remained challenging. On the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, 28 combat clashes occurred, one of which is ongoing. Enemy forces used aviation, dropping 11 guided bombs during seven airstrikes, and conducted nearly two hundred artillery shellings, including from rocket systems. On the Toretsk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 15 assaults by invaders attempting to storm positions in Toretsk, Diliivka, Shcherbynivka, as well as in the directions of Yablunivka and Novospaska. Heavy fighting took place in the areas of Novopavlivka; Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled over 15 enemy attacks in regions including Zaporizhzhia, Batyry, Veselye, Myrne, Vilne, Novosilka, Vilne Polye, and Shevchenko. The enemy used aviation, dropping military equipment and damaging several settlements, including Novodariivka and Olhivka. In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces managed to repel 14 attacks in the areas of Novy Mir, Olhivka, Grekivka, Lypove, Zelenina Dola, and Torsk, as well as in the Shandrigolovo and Karpivka directions. On the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 13 attacks in the regions of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bila Hora, Kurdiumivka, Predtechi, Novomarko, Bondarne, and Stupochki. Overall, on the South Slobozhansky sector, the enemy carried out eight attacks in the areas of Vovchansk, Lyptsi, and Dovhenke, and conducted an airstrike on the area of Lobanivka settlement. Meanwhile, in the Severny sector, Russians twice attacked Ukrainian positions in the areas of Hryhoriivka. The Kupiansk direction saw two attempts to advance—near Stepova Novoselivka and Zahrizy. Local defense forces successfully repelled one enemy assault each in the Huliaipil, Orikhiv, and Prydniprovske directions, and reported airstrikes in Huliaipil, Uspenivka, Lviv, and Malynivka. Overall, the situation remains tense, but Ukrainian forces demonstrate a high level of combat preparedness and resilience. They consistently defend their positions and respond to enemy strikes, preventing the enemy from fully breaking through the defenses. At the same time, enemy activity indicates a targeted and persistent strategy aimed at regaining lost positions and expanding territorial control in Ukraine’s eastern and southern regions.
