In Nikopol, located in Dnipropetrovsk region, a tragic event has occurred again: civilians were injured as a result of a Russian attack, and one person has died

The incident took place during the day when an unknown drone carried out an attack on a private residence, causing a major fire and property destruction, and, unfortunately, taking the life of one man. According to the State Emergency Service (SES), the shelling damaged a car parked in the yard of a private villa. The explosion and fire burned the vehicle, and parts of the surrounding infrastructure were destroyed — private houses, outbuildings, and an educational facility located nearby. The head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak, confirmed the extent of the destruction in his Telegram reports. As a result of the attack, a man born in 1962 was killed. Medical personnel were forced to declare his death at the scene. Additionally, two other adult men were wounded and quickly evacuated to medical facilities in the region. According to Lysak, a 50-year-old man was hospitalized in a moderate condition, while his 37-year-old companion will receive outpatient treatment without hospitalization. Initial reports indicate that the shelling was carried out using an FPV drone — a compact unmanned aerial vehicle used for pinpoint strikes. The missile and air attack caused significant damage in the neighborhood, leaving destroyed infrastructure and a large fire, which firefighters are currently battling. Witnesses describe the extent of the destruction. Not only was the car destroyed, but several buildings and outbuildings were damaged. Local residents say that within minutes after the strike, they saw smoke and flames erupting from beneath the ruins. Unfortunately, these events confirm once again the unstable and tense situation in the region, where civilians are constantly at risk and awaiting safety guarantees. Rescue services are currently continuing work at the site. Police and emergency specialists are investigating all circumstances of the missile attack, while local authorities are urging residents to exercise maximum caution and follow safety rules under these dangerous conditions. We can only hope that, over time, the situation stabilizes and peace will return to these areas.
