Even in the harskiest battles, Ukrainian forces consistently hold the defense and prevent the aggressor from breaking through. The hottest sectors remain Pokrovske and Novopavlivka, where the largest clusters of enemy attacks have occurred. According to official information from the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, over the past day, Russian occupiers carried out 175 combat engagements, utilizing a vast array of weaponry. The enemy actively used rockets, launching 4 missile strikes on Ukrainian positions and populated areas, and conducted 54 air strikes, including dropping 11 rockets and 99 guided air bombs. Additionally, the enemy carried out large-scale shelling, delivering 5,852 strikes, of which 67 were from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), and about one-third of a thousand kamikaze drones were used to target Ukrainian military personnel and infrastructure. The most intense enemy actions were recorded in several key sectors. On the Kharkiv front, the situation remained tense: the enemy attempted to launch seven assaults near Vovchansk, Starytsia, Kamianka, and in the Dovhenke area. Ukrainian defenses successfully repelled all these attacks and thwarted the enemy’s plan to breach the line. In the Kupiansk sector, Russian troops made 11 attacks aiming to advance in the areas of Holubivka, Zahryzove, Stepole, and Novoserhiivka. Fierce fighting and heroic resistance by Ukrainian soldiers were observed, defending critical strongpoints. In the Lyman sector, the situation also remained tense — the enemy attempted 14 times to break through Ukrainian positions near Kopanky, Novoheorivka, Lypove, as well as in the areas of Shandrigolove, Olhyvka, Karpivka, Torske, and Hryhorivka. Ukrainian forces skillfully repelled all these attempts. On the Siverskyi direction, Ukrainian defenders held their positions with minimal damage: the enemy conducted only 4 assault attempts near Serebrianka and Hryhorivka. More active fighting occurred in the Kramatorsk and Torske sectors, where Russian forces made 10 and 15 attacks respectively, trying to break through the defense near Chasiv Yar, Bily Gora, Novomarkove, Kurdiumivka, Toretsk, Rusynyi Yar, Novospaske, Oleksandro-Kalynove, and Yablunivka. The situation remains particularly tense on the Pokrovske sector, where Ukrainian defenders thwarted 46 enemy attempts to break through the defense lines in the areas of Malynivka, Myrolubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Novoserhiivka, Udaine, Oleksiyivka, as well as in the directions of Mykolaivka, Novopavlivka, Novomykolaivka, and Pokrovske. Heroically defending are also the forces in Novopavlivka, where 32 enemy attempts to break through have been repelled in areas of Kostyantynopil, Novosilka, Vilne Polye, Novyi Kovar, and in directions toward Zaporizhzhia, Novoukrainka, Myrne, Shevchenkove, Odradne, and Bahatyr. Overall, the defenders have successfully repelled a three-day wave of attacks in the Orihiv sector, where 3 enemy breakthrough attempts were halted near Novoandriivka. On the Kursk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled a series of attacks — 24 in total — and conducted 12 air strikes with 25 guided aerial bombs to damage the enemy. Additionally, they carried out 233 artillery strikes on enemy positions and settlements, including using MLRS systems. Based on night and daytime operations, Ukrainian forces systematically destroyed 22 enemy concentration areas of personnel, weapons, and military equipment. This once again confirms that even under the most challenging conditions, Ukrainian defenders maintain their hold and prevent the aggressor from advancing further. This is supported by statistics on the use of aviation, artillery, and missile systems, which together form a powerful obstacle for the enemy and halt its offensive plans. The situation in the east, south, and along all active fronts in Ukraine remains tense, but Ukrainian troops continue to fight desperately to preserve the country’s territorial integrity and independence. Likely, many more tough battles lie ahead, but the example of courage and resilience of our heroes inspires all Ukrainians to continue fighting for freedom and peace.
