As a result of a morning attack on the Nikopol community, one industrial enterprise working in this key sector was damaged. The incident has raised concerns among local residents and authorities, who are currently focused on assessing the damage and taking measures to ensure the safety of the population. According to information provided by Serhiy Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, and Mykola Lukashuk, the head of the regional council, Russian forces used a comprehensive arsenal of weapons: in the morning, the occupiers shelled the region with artillery, and also employed unmanned aerial vehicles, including FPV drones, which complicates enemy defenses and increases the threat to civilians. "The enemy shelling lasted all night. They deliberately targeted several communities — Nikopol, Miriyska, Pokrovska, and Marhanets. As a result, an industrial enterprise was damaged — there have been no reports of casualties or injuries so far," Serhiy Lysak reported on his Telegram channel. Mykola Lukashuk confirmed that the attack continued from evening into the morning, emphasizing that efforts by the military and local administration are focused on gathering information and assessing possible consequences for the region. According to him, despite significant destruction, no civilian casualties have been reported at this time. Additionally, it is worth noting that during recent missile and drone attacks, Russian troops are increasingly employing sabotage and reconnaissance groups, trying to infiltrate the region to create informational and psychological pressure. Local authorities have repeatedly emphasized the rise of such activities, which are part of the occupiers’ strategy to sow panic and discredit Ukrainian defense efforts.
