This once again highlights the ongoing trend of increasing Russian military pressure on Ukrainian territory and the growing intensity of strikes by the aggressor country. According to official data announced by the President, in June Russian forces launched approximately 2,800 attack drones—so-called "kamikaze" drones capable of precise strikes on targets. Additionally, about 3,000 guided aviation bombs were recorded—destructive tools able to inflict devastating blows on critical infrastructure and military positions. Furthermore, Zelensky’s information indicates that in this month, Russia used over 140 missiles of different types, including "Kinzhal" missiles, ballistic, and cruise missiles. This information is sourced directly from the President’s message on his official Facebook page, where he highlighted the results of Ukrainian air defense systems’ work, which overnight destroyed a significant number of Russian targets—namely, 167 aerial objects that the enemy attempted to strike Ukraine with. Overall, during the night missile attacks, Ukrainian defenders intercepted and destroyed 183 attack drones and 11 missiles of various types. The most intense attack activities took place in the Poltava region, concentrated in the city of Kremenchuk, indicating the continued high level of tension in areas critical to Ukrainian defense. Zelensky emphasizes that these attacks have been ongoing for the fourth year in a row, with the number of missile and drone strikes increasing each year. According to the President, this underscores the necessity of strengthening Ukraine’s air defense and intensifying efforts to counter aerial warfare. The head of state also stressed the importance of imposing stricter sanctions against Russia. In particular, he called for enhanced restrictions on Russian banking institutions and the financial sector, as economic pressure remains one of the key leverage points to weaken the aggressor country's military potential. Overall, the situation remains tense: Ukrainian defenders are daily protecting the sky and destroying Russian drones and missiles, while continuing efforts to bolster defense capabilities and garner international support. As the war persists into its fourth year, Ukrainian military and diplomatic efforts continue to seek ways to halt the aggression and achieve peace for the country.
