Russian shelling has once again caused destruction and human suffering in Kupiansk: several local residents injured

On Sunday, June 15, explosions rang out again in Kharkiv region. Russian forces used missile systems and unmanned aerial vehicles to attack the city of Kupiansk, resulting in significant damage and casualties. According to local police reports, three residents of the city were injured as a result of the enemy strike, one of whom is in serious condition and requires immediate hospitalization. The explosions on the morning of June 15 occurred in the central districts of Kupiansk when Russian troops deliberately targeted infrastructure and residential areas. Preliminary information indicates that the main target was private properties, and one private house was damaged. In addition to material damage, the enemy also inflicted human losses. According to official information, three women were injured to varying degrees. A 70-year-old resident with blast wounds received urgent medical assistance and was hospitalized at the local hospital. Her condition remains severe, and medical professionals assess her health as critically stable. Two other women, aged 27 and 62, experienced severe stress reactions and were taken to medical facilities for psychological and medical assistance. According to local law enforcement, the shelling caused intense psychological shock among other residents of the city, many of whom are currently in a state of severe stress. Kharkiv police urge residents of Kupiansk and surrounding areas to stay in safe shelters and follow all safety recommendations during prolonged shelling. An investigation is ongoing to establish all circumstances of the attack and the involvement of specific military units of the aggressor country. Local authorities and the military continue to call on residents to stay united and not lose faith in victory. At the same time, Ukrainian diplomacy and the efforts of the international community focus on increasing sanctions against Russia and providing humanitarian aid to the affected regions. The enemy once again managed to cast a shadow of fear and insecurity over civilians who continue to fight for their right to peace and security.
