The well-known American politician and former U.S. president does not hide his optimism about the future of the region and actively participates in diplomatic processes, asserting that his efforts are already bearing fruit. In his daily post on the social media platform Truth Social, he stated that a historic peace agreement between Israel and Iran is expected to happen soon, emphasizing that he has worked hard for this goal. "I am doing a lot to bring Iran and Israel to the negotiating table and sign a peace deal," Trump wrote, highlighting that his efforts are similar to those that once helped ease conflicts between India and Pakistan, which have long been viewed as an example of diplomatic resolution even for the most complex disputes. According to him, trade plays a key role in this process, capable of ending hostility and building trust between the parties. The former president also stressed that important diplomatic steps are being taken not only in the Middle East. He claimed that he has already managed to prevent the outbreak of new conflicts in various regions, including between Kosovo and Serbia, as well as between Egypt and Ethiopia, ensuring stability and reducing tensions. “The same with Iran. I am confident we will achieve peace soon, and this will change the situation in the region forever,” he added. In his statement, Trump emphasized that numerous phone calls are underway and many meetings are being held aimed at revitalizing diplomatic activity and creating favorable conditions for signing a historic agreement. He noted that many efforts often go unnoticed and underestimated, but he is convinced that public awareness already recognizes the true value of his work. “I am doing a lot despite the lack of official recognition,” Trump said. “People see what is happening and understand that a new era of peace in the Middle East is coming.” Confident in his vision of the future, he concluded his message with a call to restore the region’s greatness, referencing the slogan of his presidential campaign, which at the time became a symbol of national revival and new beginnings. The preconditions are quite obvious: on the night of June 13, Israel carried out an airstrike against facilities in Iran related to its nuclear program, explaining its actions as an effort to prevent the spread of nuclear weapons in the region. In response, Tehran launched a missile attack. Recently, reports have surfaced that Israeli military officials approached the administration of the former U.S. president with requests to intensify American support for strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites, indicating a tense situation and a desire to resolve the conflict diplomatically. At the same time, Iranian officials openly rejected the possibility of further negotiations with the U.S. regarding the nuclear program, citing American support for the Israeli government. This complicates the path toward a compromise but simultaneously underscores the importance of diplomatic efforts and Trump’s personal activity in attempting to resolve the complex regional conflict. Given the current tense situation, many analysts believe that preparations for a possible comprehensive agreement are still ongoing, but achieving it would represent a real breakthrough in international efforts to support stability and peace in the Middle East.
