According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of 10:00 PM on June 15, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled 178 attacks by Russian occupying forces, indicating increased enemy activity in the eastern and southern regions of the country. The massive enemy assaults included missile, aviation, and artillery strikes directed at various frontlines, notably in key sectors such as the Pokrovsk, Novopavlivka, and Toretsk directions. Sectoral analysis indicates a high intensity of combat operations, raising serious concern among military experts and official defense officials. Official reports state that over the past day, Russia launched one missile strike and carried out 56 aerial attacks using a single missile and 63 guided bombs. Additionally, the occupying forces deployed a demonstratively large number of kamikaze drones — over 1,249 in total — to attack Ukrainian military positions and infrastructure facilities. Overall, there have been 4,124 shellings targeting residential and military objects, significantly complicating the situation in areas engaged in active combat. A particularly tense situation persists in the Pokrovsk direction, where Russian forces conducted 45 attacks over the day. Targets included Ukrainian positions in Malynivka, Myrolubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Novoserhiivka, Udačne, and Horikhove. The enemy also attempted to break through defenses in areas such as Myrne, Novoukraine, and Muravka, as well as in routes toward these localities. Ukrainian forces successfully repelled 44 breakthrough attempts, demonstrating a high level of combat spirit and cohesive operations among Ukrainian troops. On the Novopavlivka sector, the combat situation remains tense. Ukrainian units repelled 23 enemy attacks in areas including Rozliv, Bahatyr, Novosilka, and in the directions of Shevchenko and Vile Open Field. Similar efforts by the enemy were recorded in the Toretsk sector, where Ukrainian forces successfully thwarted 21 attacks in the regions of Diliivka, Toretsk, Shcherbinivka, and Romanivka, as well as in the directions of Pleschiivka and Yablunivka. On the Lyman sector, where the situation remains quite tense, Ukrainian defenders repelled 17 attacks by the occupiers in areas such as Ridkodub, Yampolivka, Zelene Rudnik, Serebryansky Forest, and toward Hlushchenkove, Olgivka, Novy Mir, Torsk, and Shandroholove. It is noteworthy that on the Kramatorsk direction, the Ukrainian army halted six attempt to storm Russian units in the areas of Stupochki and Bily Gora, fighting for every inch of territory. Overall, on the Kupiansk sector, enemy forces tried to advance five times near Kindrashivka, Petropavlivka, and in the directions of Holubivka and Novoplatonivka. Ukrainian troops successfully repelled these incursions. A similar situation is observed on the Siversky sector, where Ukrainian soldiers managed to fend off five enemy attacks aiming to advance toward Hryhorivka and Verkhnokamianske, achieving a counterattack. On the Kharkiv sector, the adversary launched three attempts to advance in the Kamyanka area, as well as near Lyptsi and Krasny Pervyi, all of which ended unsuccessfully. Meanwhile, on the Dnipro direction, Russian forces made two unsuccessful attempts to break through near the Antonivskyi Bridge, demonstrating Ukrainian defenders’ efforts to hold this sector. A significant concern is the situation on the Orikhiv direction, where Ukrainian troops successfully repelled an enemy assault near Novoandriivka. The situation remains stable on the Kursk direction, with Ukrainian forces continuing to hold their defenses, having repelled 33 enemy attacks since the start of the day. According to recent reports, no combat clashes occurred in the Hulyaipole sector, which in no way diminishes the importance of maintaining a defensive regime across all key front sectors. Overall, Ukraine’s military leadership emphasizes high activity levels of Russian occupying forces, which are attempting to break Ukrainian defenses on multiple fronts through massive assaults and the employment of a wide range of combat means. Despite this, Ukrainian troops demonstrate high resilience and professionalism, repelling enemy advances and maintaining control over strategically important positions. The operational situation remains tense, but Ukrainian command continues to focus efforts on holding the line and preparing for potential further developments.
