According to the official spokesperson of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of June 13, the situation remains extremely tense, with continuous fighting and intense confrontations being characteristic of this phase of the war. In total, 175 combat engagements took place that day, of which 44 were directed at the Pokrovsk direction. During these battles, Ukrainian troops successfully repelled all enemy attacks; however, the aggressor continues its active offensive operations. The Deputy Chief of the General Staff reported that Russian invaders launched one missile attack and 51 airstrikes on Ukrainian territory. For this, the enemy employed four cruise missiles and 85 guided air bombs. Additionally, Russian forces utilized over 970 kamikaze drones and conducted approximately 3,700 shelling of Ukrainian positions and settlements across Ukraine. In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy attempted five times to advance in the areas of Vovchansk, Zaozernoe, and Kamyanka, but Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled all these attacks. The most intense fighting occurred in the Kupiansk sector, where the enemy attempted to break through our defenses five times near Kindrashivka, Stepove, Novoselivka, Nova Kngryliivka, and in the Novoplatonivka area. Ukrainian forces are bravely holding the line, preventing the enemy from establishing a foothold. On the Lyman direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 14 enemy attacks in the areas of Novyi Mir, Serhivka, Lypove, Zelena Dolyna, Torske, and Hryhoriivka. Four of these attacks are still ongoing. In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian soldiers successfully repelled four enemy assaults, enabling them to stabilize the situation and prevent further advances by the enemy. The Kramatorsk sector remains at the center of active hostilities, where Ukrainian defenders stopped nine enemy attacks. On the Toretsk sector, fighting continues at several locations — near Toretsk, Oleksandro-Kalynove, Yablunivka, and Rusyny Yar. Over the day, Ukrainian military units repelled 16 assaults by the invaders in these directions. Regarding the Pokrovsk sector, Russian attackers carried out 44 attacks on Ukrainian positions in towns and villages such as Popiv Yar, Myrolubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Novoserhiivka, Udachne, Horikhove, and Oleksiivka. Ukrainian forces effectively held back the enemy offensive, repelling 42 attacks, while two battles are still ongoing, underscoring the tense situation and the high cost our troops are currently paying. On the Novopavlivske sector, our defenders managed to repel 19 enemy attacks near settlements such as Odradne, Skudne, Vesele, Buraltske, Novosilka, and Zelene Pole. In the Huliaipole district, Ukrainian forces held their positions around Malynivka, and on the Orikhiv sector, they successfully defended against a storming attempt near Nesteryanka — another significant episode in today’s confrontation. Regarding attempts by the enemy to make more significant advances, on the Prydniprovske sector, Russian forces launched a single unsuccessful attack near the Antonivka bridge, again showing weaknesses in their offensive plans. Overall, Ukrainian troops demonstrate high combat effectiveness and determination to hold their positions amid a barrage of attacks and constant enemy activity. This situation highlights the critical importance for Ukraine to preserve and strengthen its defensive capability, as well as the urgency of international cooperation and weapons supplies to secure victory. Despite numerous difficulties and high costs, our defenders continue to hold the line, resisting Russian aggression, and hope for a swift end to the war and the restoration of peace on Ukrainian soil.
