The past day on the Ukrainian front was marked by active combat operations and significant casualties on both sides
According to the official data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on June 11, there were as many as 220 military clashes on the front — one of the highest figures throughout the entire war period. The most tense sectors remain in the directions of Pokrovske and Novopavlivske, where the enemy actively participated in assaults, conducting 62 and 46 attacks respectively. A detailed report as of the morning of June 12 reveals the intensity of enemy actions. The opponent launched one missile strike and 86 airstrikes against Ukrainian units and local residents. The enemy's aviation used two guided missiles and dropped over 130 guided aerial bombs, confirming a high level of threat to Ukrainian positions and civilian infrastructure. In addition to missile strikes, the occupiers carried out large-scale artillery shelling — a total of 6,064 shells, including 122 from rocket launchers. The Russians also demonstrated activity through kamikaze drones — 3,744 UAVs were involved in target attacks. Such actions indicate a systematic approach by the enemy to destroy Ukrainian defenses and civilian infrastructure. In the Kursk direction, according to the General Staff, 27 combat clashes of varying intensity took place over the past day. A total of 19 airstrikes were carried out using 40 guided bombs. Enemy shelling did not decrease — Ukrainian positions and settlements were damaged 268 times, including six hits from rocket artillery. These attacks were also accompanied by aviation and artillery fire. However, Ukrainian defenders managed to inflict significant damage on the enemy and reduce its combat potential. During counteroffensive actions and target selection, they struck important Russian military objects — notably, 10 areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, seven artillery units, one air defense system, as well as five command posts, three ammunition depots, and two strategic objects. The total casualties of the attackers over the day amounted to 1,140 personnel — a sign of the heavy price Russia continues to pay for its aggressive actions. Moreover, Ukrainian troops neutralized a substantial arsenal of the enemy: six tanks, three armored combat vehicles, 47 artillery systems, one air defense system, 138 operational-tactical drones, and 136 units of enemy automotive equipment. This rapid and extensive destruction of equipment and personnel evidence the resilience and determination of Ukrainian defenders to fight for their land. At the same time, Russian forces continue to artificially intensify the situation, attempting to break through Ukrainian defenses and showing blatant disregard for human and resource losses. Given the current situation, it can be expected that hostilities around Ukraine will not cease in the near future, and Ukrainian defense will remain strong, maintaining the capacity to effectively counter the enemy.
