Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders destroyed more than a thousand additional Russian occupiers, and since the start of the large-scale invasion, the number of killed and wounded Russians in combat has reached an astonishing figure of over one million military personnel. This confirms the seriousness and scale of the fighting in Ukraine and demonstrates the resilience of the Ukrainian resistance. According to the General Staff, from February 24, 2022, to June 12, 2025, approximately 1,000,340 losses have been recorded among the occupying forces. This figure includes not only those killed but also wounded personnel, further emphasizing the extent of destruction and the high level of confrontation at the front. Based on estimated data, during this period, the enemy lost over 10,933 tanks, 22,786 armored combat vehicles, and nearly 30,000 artillery systems. Equally important are the losses in air defense systems — over 1,180 various air defense units, which play a crucial role in defending Ukrainian skies. Regarding unmanned aerial vehicles, their losses over the past period have reached over 40,355 units, with an additional 138 new drones added in the last day. This indicates not only the scale of enemy activity but also the ongoing Ukrainian efforts to combat enemy UAVs used for intelligence and targeting purposes. Moreover, the Russian losses include over 51,000 units of automotive equipment and tankers. This highlights the high level of destruction of logistical networks and complicates the supply and support of enemy troops at the front. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine notes that all the figures provided as of today are approximate, as continuous clarification and recalculation are ongoing. However, they unquestionably confirm the extensive and massive destruction of the Russian army. At the same time, Ukrainian defenders continue to confront the enemy in fierce battles, gaining important strategic advantages and reclaiming positions. These data attest to the unyielding character of Ukrainian resistance and the high price Russia is paying for its aggressive actions, engraving into the memory of Ukrainians and the international community the scale of the war ongoing in Eastern Europe.
