The enemy has resumed attacks on Dnipropetrovsk region, causing significant destruction and endangering the local population
According to the latest reports, Russian occupiers again struck the region, damaging an administrative building and power lines, which led to widespread disruptions in the supply of essential services to residents. Additionally, a fire broke out on the roof of a multi-storey residential building located in the central districts of the region, but it was quickly localized by firefighters. As Head of the Regional Administration Serhii Lysak reported on his Telegram channel, the attacks lasted throughout the day and targeted a wide range of objectives. The enemy did not stop, systematically aiming at agricultural, residential, and administrative facilities. Specifically, buildings in Nikopol, Marganets, Pokrovske, and the Miriiv community were damaged — this series of attacks caused considerable technical and material damage. According to Lysak, the attackers used unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), artillery, and FPV drones—delivering precise strikes to specific targets. As a result, in addition to the fire at the residential area, several infrastructure facilities were damaged, including power lines, which significantly complicated electricity supply in the region. A particularly concerning situation is in the Mezhivsk community of Synelnykove district, which was also attacked by FPV drones. This resulted in a large fire, which has now been extinguished. Fortunately, there are no casualties or injuries among the local residents as a result of these attacks — the situation is under control, and rescue services are responding swiftly to emergencies. Regional Military Administration Head Serhii Lysak emphasizes that during the night, Ukrainian defenders shot down an enemy drone that was targeting objectives in the sky over the region. This once again proves that Ukrainian military forces actively defend their land and are capable of giving a worthy response to the aggressor, reducing the scale of destruction and human losses. Overall, the situation in the region remains tense, but local authorities urge residents to stay vigilant and follow official messages. All services are currently operating in enhanced mode to minimize the negative consequences of enemy strikes and quickly restore damaged infrastructure.
