As part of his “volunteer activities,” he created the illusion of charitable aid and pseudo-promises of delivering equipment necessary for the Ukrainian military—cars, charging stations, and tourniquets—but in reality, he was defrauding trusting citizens. From official sources, it was learned that the investigation documented 14 episodes of the suspect’s criminal activity, during which he successfully stole funds and property by luring citizens and businessmen into his trap. The total losses suffered by victims are estimated at over 3 million hryvnias.
