The relevant report was received on June 11, when the enemy launched yet another attack on peaceful objects in the region, creating a new wave of fear and destruction in local communities. According to Vyacheslav Chaus, the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, the Russians used a "Molniya" type attack drone, which caused significant damage to the hospital's infrastructure. As a result of the attack, the building's façade was seriously damaged, many interior rooms were at risk due to destruction of walls and ceilings, and the hospital’s windows were shattered, further increasing the destruction and posing a danger to those inside. Fortunately, there are no reports of casualties among medical staff or patients at this time. However, the situation is worsened by the fact that this is the fifth shelling recorded against this medical facility since the beginning of the war. The hospital, which plays a vital role in providing medical care to the region’s residents, is becoming a constant target of Russian attacks, destroying not only the building but also undermining trust in safety and stability in this part of Chernihiv region. The regional head emphasizes that such targeted attacks on medical facilities are a gross violation of international law and the rights of doctors and patients to protection and safe treatment. Local authorities and the military remain vigilant; all efforts are focused on preventing further destruction and ensuring the safety of residents. Overall, the situation with ongoing missile and drone strikes in Chernihiv remains tense. Local leadership and volunteers are calling for increased safety measures and greater information exchange to prevent future attacks, as the war in this part of the country has destroyed many civilian buildings and created an extraordinarily difficult humanitarian crisis. While Russian troops continue to deliberately destroy infrastructure, Ukrainians are holding on, believing in a quick victory and striving to maintain humanity and calm amidst this challenging situation.
