Russian drones targeted Donetsk region, resulting in a tragedy: one person died
This occurred in the village of Raiske, in Donetsk oblast, where the enemy once again used unmanned aerial vehicles in their combat operations, attempting to harm the civilian population and destroy residential areas. According to official information received from Vadym Fylashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, and the State Emergency Service via Telegram, a Russian drone struck the private residential sector of Raiske village, which is part of the Druzhkivka community. As a result of the attack, a woman was wounded and, unfortunately, died. The State Emergency Service reports: "As a result of a Russian drone strike on the residential sector of Raiske village, which is part of the Druzhkivka community, a woman was killed." Preliminary reports indicate that the occupiers partially destroyed a private house in the village, causing a large fire. Rescuers swiftly arrived on the scene to extinguish the flames and save as much as possible. The fire was extinguished by the SES, but nothing remained of the collapsed house — rescuers discovered the body of a 69-year-old resident who was trapped under the rubble. This tragedy once again underscores the terrible nature of Russia's military aggression against peaceful residents of Donetsk, who have been suffering destruction and losses for many years. Military operations in this area continue, and each new shelling brings death and devastation. Local authorities and rescue services condemn these attacks, once again calling on the international community to strengthen sanctions and actions against the aggressor in order to prevent further tragedy and ensure the protection of civilians. Currently, the situation in the region remains tense. Residents are filled with fear and anxiety, as such attacks hinder peaceful life and undermine efforts to recover. Local authorities urge residents to follow safety measures, be careful, and report any suspicious objects or activities. This again confirms the inalienable truth: war not only destroys cities and infrastructure but also destroys human lives, leaving grieving relatives and entire families behind.
