The overall conflict in eastern Ukraine remains tense and characterized by large-scale hostilities
According to the official summary from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 10:00 p.m. on June 10, over the past 24 hours, more than 160 combat encounters have been recorded at the front, confirming the high activity level of Russian occupying forces and their continued efforts to advance in strategically important areas. This indicates that the front line remains tense and alarming, and daily fighting is a normal part of the current military situation. During this period, Ukrainian soldiers have repelled numerous assault attempts; however, the enemy continues offensive operations, employing numerical superiority and various means of destruction. The occupiers launched three missile strikes and 75 aerial attacks, used 10 rockets, and conducted over 90 drops of cluster munitions. Equally significant is the use of more than 1,200 kamikaze drones by the adversary, which are actively used for reconnaissance and targeting Ukrainian positions. Additionally, Ukrainian forces have recorded approximately 3,600 artillery shellings against our defenders’ positions, creating high tension and requiring urgent response. Regarding specific sectors, the situation is as follows: on the Kharkiv front, Ukrainian units successfully repelled two Russian attacks in the Vovchansk and Dvorichna areas. On the Kupiansk direction, the enemy carried out ten attacks in the areas of Stepiova, Novoselivka, and Zeleni Hai settlements, but our troops organized effective defenses to repel them. On the Lyman sector, the enemy attacked 19 times in the areas of Hreikovka, Nadiia, Karpivka, Torskoe, Yampolivka, and Zelenaya Dolina, but Ukrainian defenders held their positions. Heavy fighting continues on the Siversk sector, where Ukrainian forces successfully repelled ten enemy breakthrough attempts today. Similar developments are observed in the Kramatorsk sector, where defense forces managed to halt three attack attempts near Biloha Hora. On the Toretsk direction, the occupiers persistently tried to break through Ukrainian lines—11 assault actions have been recorded in the areas of Diliivka, Toretsk, Leonidivka, and Yablunivka. As for the situation in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka directions, enemy activity has been the highest. The hostile forces made 36 and 30 attempt to breach defenses respectively, especially active in the areas of Poltavka, Myrolubivka, Myrne, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Kotlina, Udaichne, Novoseriivka, Horikhove, Kotliarivka, Bohdanivka, and Kostiantynopol. Fighting continues in these areas, with Ukrainian military units demonstrating high resilience and combat readiness. Meanwhile, on the Huliaiipole sector, Ukrainian forces stopped three enemy attacks in the Malynivka area, but two more assault attempts are ongoing and have not yet been concluded. The situation on the Orikhiv front remains tense—here, the occupiers persistently attempted five attacks in the areas of Stepove and in the directions of Novodanilivka and Novoandriivka. At the same time, on the Dnipro defensive sector, the enemy conducted three unsuccessful assault attempts; additionally, on the Kursk direction, Ukrainian troops have resisted 21 enemy attacks since the beginning of the day, with three active battles remaining today. Overall, the situation remains very difficult—enemy forces continue to employ a wide range of means of destruction, utilizing aviation, missile systems, and kamikaze drones to reinforce their positions and advance. Ukrainian units display high combat discipline and courage, enduring pressure and repelling numerous enemy attacks. Nonetheless, the frontline situation remains very tense and changes hourly. The country's leadership calls on all parties to exercise maximum caution and to continue steadfastly with defensive and counteroffensive operations to protect Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
