Russian forces carried out a large-scale night shelling of Ukraine, using 322 air attack means, of which 284 were intercepted
This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force in Telegram. According to the latest information, as of the morning of June 10, Ukrainian air defense units managed to intercept and destroy a significant portion of the enemy's attack means, demonstrating the high effectiveness of Ukrainian air defense systems in minimizing damage. "During the night from June 9 to 10, the enemy employed 315 UAVs of various types, including strike drones and decoys. In addition to drones, the opponent launched two KN-23 ballistic missiles and five Iskander-K cruise missiles," said a representative of the Air Force. The main direction of the enemy's strike this time was Kyiv — the capital of Ukraine, which regularly finds itself at the center of Russian military attacks. As a result of coordinated work by the air defense, Ukrainian soldiers were able to destroy not only two ballistic missiles but also all five cruise missiles. Additionally, 213 idiotic UAVs were shot down using fire means, while another 64 devices were electronically suppressed or destroyed with radio-electronic warfare tools. According to Ukrainian military sources, calibration and concentrated efforts of the air defense systems allowed for the recording of debris fall in 16 different locations, with hits documented in 11 other places. This indicates that the protection was effective and helped to minimize inflicted damage. Overall, the Russian night attack involved a high-tech attack complex: aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, and unmanned systems units. Mobile fire groups of Ukrainian forces operated coherently and so effectively that they significantly limited the enemy's ability to reach their targets and minimized damage to important objects. In general, this nocturnal attack once again demonstrates the high level of training and combat skill of Ukrainian defenders in resisting Russian aggressors. Ukraine continues to stand firm despite constant assaults, maintaining its skies and protecting its citizens from another wave of invasion actions.
